Steph created this original painting in 2023 as part of the Gold Coast art exhibition, Made To Suit. The exhibition featured artwork of 30+ local tattoo artists. Each artist was supplied the same size paper with a printed template of a life-size male or female figure for which they could create a unique piece of art.
The original artworks were over 6 foot tall and exhibited for a month at Dust Temple in Currumbin.
Steph’s painting was inspired by the Art Nouveau style x neo-traditional tattoo style. Mediums used were watercolour, ink and gold leaf. The original painting featured gold leaf accents in the fish, flowers and fine details throughout the painting.
